Oil service
Oil Service for European Vehicles in Trinidad
The cheapest insurance your engine can buy — if the oil is the right one, changed at the right time.
Not all oil is oil
Your engine was engineered around a specification
A modern European engine doesn't just ask for '5W-30'. It asks for an approval: BMW Longlife-04, MB-Approval 229.52, VW 504 00/507 00, Porsche A40 — formulations tested for that engine's bearings, timing chain, turbo and emissions system. The wrong oil won't fail today; it fails slowly, in ways that surface as timing-chain noise, turbo wear and clogged passages years later.
It matters more here. Trinidad's heat pushes oil temperatures up, humidity loads oil with moisture on short trips, and bumper-to-bumper traffic hours don't show on the odometer — the classic recipe for oil that's exhausted long before a 'normal' interval. We fit the exact approval your engine requires, with a genuine filter, and set intervals for how the car actually lives.
Every oil service includes a multi-point inspection and a digital record — so a simple visit still builds your car's documented history.
- Factory-approved oils only — approval printed on your invoice
- Genuine or OE filters (Mann, Mahle, Hengst)
- Tropical-honest intervals, explained not imposed
- Multi-point inspection with every oil service

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I change oil in Trinidad?
For most European engines in our conditions: annually at minimum, and typically every 8,000–10,000 km rather than the 15,000 km 'long-life' maximum — especially with short trips and heavy traffic. We'll recommend honestly for your specific engine and use.
Do you stock oil for my specific car?
We stock the major European approvals and source the rare ones through our network. Send your year, make and model and we'll confirm the exact specification and price.
Is a dealer oil service better?
It's the same specification oil and filter — that's the point of approvals. What matters is the correct spec, a quality filter, proper reset of service systems, and records. We do all four, and inspect the car properly while it's up.
Can you check for oil leaks while you're at it?
Always — it's part of our inspection. European engines have known leak points by platform (valve cover, oil filter housing, pan). If we find seepage we'll photograph it, tell you how urgent it is, and quote the fix.
